DONT STAY HERE! The room was large but carpet covered in stains (like someone has dropped bleach on the carpet throughout) I don’t know what housekeeping are doing but they are not cleaning rooms. The soap containers at the basins were either broke or empty, there were dirty towels. The noise is as all other reviews state horrendous and there is a constant banging noise in the wall either from the lift or a water hammer noise. The reception staff couldn’t care when you complain.

This is the worst hotel i have ever visited in Australia for the past 10years. I was given a room which stank as if it was vacant for years. I opened the windows and went out for 3-4 hours. When i was back, the room still stank badly. Called the recept but they just shrug it off as no other room to change. Went downstairs to talk to the long hair male receptionist for some solutions such as air freshener or room change. I can hardly believe the attitude of the staff. Totally nonchalantly refused my request and told me “i cant chase others out for you” such attitude from a hotel staff is definitely uncalled for. Kept telling me he put on record, obviously its just to keep me quiet. Room is old and not anything like the photos. Would definitely shun its brand in future. Wouldnt want to spoil the holiday with the attitude of the staff.

The room was clean enough, but I did find a few long hairs in the bedroom and bathroom. The room itself was big and bed was comfy. The bedroom window however, didn't close! So all night we had traffic noise keeping us awake. Reception said it would get looked at, but never did! The jacuzzi had far too much chlorine in it, it actually bleached my bikini, completely ruined it! Reception staff didn't care, they just offered to throw my bikini in the bin! Several emails to the hotel management, and nothing! Had one reply saying they do not put bleach in the jaccuzzi! Honestly, I felt unheard, and unimportant as a guest! They should have offered us another room, with working windows and replaced my ruined swim suit! The staff just don't care! Also, just so you know, breakfast is next door in a different, much nicer hotel!

Excellent Location near Circular Quay and The Rocks

The location of the property is excellent and only a short walk to Circular Quay , the Rocks and Darling Harbour. The light rail is also close by on George Street. However this is not a hotel. The property comprises numerous apartments many of which are owned by long term residents. There is no bar, dining facilities or lounge area. The apartment was a good size and well equipped. However the air conditioning did not work. We reported this but the maintenance team were unable to fix it. The glass sliding door onto the balcony was difficult to open and the housekeeping team did not arrive until after 5.00 pm most days to clean the room. In summary we were rather disappointed and there are more suitable hotels in the area.
